Why is my Shopify CSV failing?
Upload your product CSV and find common Shopify import errors before you upload it.
Shopify can reject, skip or misinterpret CSV data because of headers, encoding, quoting, handles, variants and related fields. This tool checks for common problems before you import.
No account. No card. Your file is processed only while the service is running.
CSV imports are fragile
One blank value, duplicated product row, or malformed number can turn a routine import into a time-consuming cleanup.
Manual fixes are risky
Editing a spreadsheet by hand can accidentally change prices, titles, SKUs, or other commercial data.
Review first, then import
Use a clear report to see what needs your attention before the file reaches Shopify.
HOW IT WORKS
Three straightforward steps
- 1
Upload your CSV
Choose a UTF-8 Shopify product CSV from your computer.
- 2
Review the findings
See columns, row counts, and problems that need your attention. Only harmless header-formatting fixes are applied automatically.
- 3
Download and check
Download the corrected CSV and a plain-English report, then review before importing.
WHAT IT FINDS
Common import blockers
- Incorrect, missing, case-mismatched, or spaced headers
- UTF-8, quoting, and uneven-row problems
- Missing or duplicate product Handles and title-only rows
- Blank prices, invalid numbers, and inventory dependencies
- Duplicate variant options and malformed image URLs
WHAT IT FIXES
Only harmless header formatting
It can remove surrounding whitespace from a column name when that change is unambiguous.
Potentially problematic prices, inventory values, SKUs, titles, handles, option values, and other commercial data are identified for review and left unchanged.
A useful check, not an import guarantee
This tool does not guarantee that every Shopify import will succeed. Shopify's rules, your store configuration, product relationships, and CSV content can still affect an import. Always review the report and corrected file before importing.
PRIVACY
Your file is processed in memory, not saved to a database.
Uploaded files and generated downloads are held only in the running application's memory and are cleared when the service restarts. This service does not intentionally write uploads to persistent storage. The service counts aggregate page, validation, and download events in memory only. There are no user accounts, database records, Shopify connections, cookies, or third-party analytics.
